The Messenger Splice is made of preshaped aluminum coated steel wires that are helically shaped to the appropriate size for the messenger that is being spliced.

Messenger Splice Application
The Messenger Splices are designed to grip the messenger uniformly providing superior holding force while not deforming the messenger. Also allows for the smooth running of “roll by” blocks during conductor installation. They are used to splice two messengers together and generate a holding strength of 100% of the ultimate tensile strength of the messenger.
